Noah “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” Hebrews 11:7   NOAH

It was full of sin. Men multiplied and went far away from God. What was the earth like in the days of Noah? It was full of sin. Men multiplied and went far away from God.

In the midst of evil and sin, there was a man who pleased God In the midst of evil and sin, there was a man who pleased God. Who was he? NOAH

Just like Noah, we should walk with God every day of our lives Lord, bless me and protect me at school. Lord, take away everything in my heart that doesn’t please you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit.

Noah, I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth. God told Noah there would be a flood and commanded him to build an ark. Noah, I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth. Make yourself an ark and you shall go into it, you and your whole family... NOAH

Because I fear God, I will only do what pleases him. Noah feared God, so he built an ark. Because I fear God, I will only do what pleases him.

They did not fear the Lord and didn’t listen to what Noah said. What did people do when Noah announced there would be a flood and built the ark? They did not fear the Lord and didn’t listen to what Noah said. Noah is wasting time building this ark! I’m going home to take care of my life! This here is a waste of time! NOAH

He believed that everything God had said would be fulfilled. Noah did not get discouraged and didn’t doubt! He believed that everything God had said would be fulfilled. NOAH

God sent the flood over the earth God sent the flood over the earth. The ark was salvation and deliverance for Noah and his family.

Just as in the days of Noah, the faithful church brings a warning from God: JESUS WILL RETURN! But many don’t believe!

Because Noah feared God, believing in his words, he and his family were saved.

Question for the Adolescents Read Hebrews 11:7 and answer: Why was Noah called a hero of faith? Answer: Because he believed (he had faith) in the prophecy that God gave him about the flood, feared the Lord and built the ark, for the salvation of his family. “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” Heb. 11: 7
