Year 3 Term 2 ‘Wheels Topic’ This term our new topic is called ‘Wheels’. This will link to Christmas through toys as the topic develops. We have had a change of staff this term. Mrs Sharman is now the Teaching Assistant in Year 3. She will be in class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. This term Year 3 will be having football on Monday afternoons so please send in full P.E. kits and trainers or daps (not boots) for children to wear. As the weather is now colder it is advisable to put in track suit bottoms for outside games sessions. Please continue reading as much as possible with your children at home. Last term it was lovely to see that some older brothers and sisters were also helping out with reading too! Write a comment in the reading record book and let us know how your child has got on. Send in book bags every day for guided reading and individual reading sessions. S.O.S Lots of clothing is getting lost (as it does every year). Please make sure that all kit including P.E. kit and coats are clearly named as this makes it easier to return if it is left outside or in the hall for any reason. Finally , a huge ‘thank you’ to all parents /guardians for the support given to the Year 3 team last term. We appreciated your back up and we are looking forward to Christmas and another good term!
