Sports Played In Spain In Spain, there is more to just playing soccer. Although soccer is the most popular sport in Spain they also like to bullfight. Bullfighting is an integral part of the Spanish sports culture & it has been around since the 17th century. Celebrations in Spain In February, the “Carnival in Cadiz” is the most celebrated carnival in Spain. Semana Santa (Holy Week) takes place in April & it is probably the most significant religious celebration. Corpus Christi is a feast at the end of May celebrating the triumph of good over evil. Fiesta de Los Reyes “Three Kings Day” is when the three kings bring presents to the children on the evening of January 5th. The Culture of Spain  The Spanish have a very modern outlook on clothing & they are keen on designer clothes. The teenage girls tend to wear trousers more than skirts. Appearance is important to teenage boys & they are keen on designer wear. The Mature Spaniards dress conservatively and with style. The older men tend to wear high-quality clothing.
