Safety We do a risk assessment before going in 30 years of experience and run 1.2 million activity sessions each year The centre has an on-call Duty Manager available to deal with any issues that may arise. There is also a Duty First Aider available 24 hours a day, with a dedicated first aid room at their disposal. Safety – FAQ from website Q: How secure is the centre? A: Security is paramount to Kingswood. Every centre keep clearly- defined boundaries with perimeter fencing, night patrols, electronic gates and CCTV where needed. We maintain the highest security standards at all times and all visitors wear name badges when on site.

Groupings Students to be sorted into 16 groups of 10 Each group of 10 will be assigned one member of staff The centre has a night duty team and teachers on call throughout the night.

Activities Activities chosen to challenge students (and some staff!) for example: Orienteering – develop team skills in groups. Zip wire/ Abseiling – to develop resilience and the mind set to tackle obstacles High equilibrium (see right) – Team challenge, fun competition for groups/ whole cohort Full program to be finalised once payment is is made on 19th October.

Inclusion – FAQ from website Q: What about children with special needs? A: Kingswood is committed to an inclusive approach and values the involvement of all young people. We can support special needs students with many of their requirements as long as teachers make us aware of them at the time of booking. We’re happy to provide extra support to those who are used to taking part in activities with the rest of their classmates – but if we think it won’t prove a positive experience for them, that it might prove overwhelming, or that we’re not equipped to cope with a specific situation, we’ll let you know.

Rooming Rooms arranged by Head of Year Dorms sleep between 2-8 students. Dorm plan to be provided by Kingswood once payment has been made on 19th October. Boys and girls rooms separate. Separate toilet and shower facilities for girls and boys close to dormitories.

Food Food is provided for the entirety of our stay Lunch on arrival and dinner Friday Breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday Breakfast and lunch Sunday before departure Kingswood are happy to cater for special faith or dietary requirements. School to notify them upon payment
