Remember to hit the SAVE button at the bottom of the profile page. Congrats! You’ve completed your NuRide profile.

HOW TO RECORD TRIPS Begin by selecting “Record a Trip” in the dropdown under the “Trips” tab. You can record trips by going to Trips and selecting Record Trips. Keep scrolling down to add details —and don’t forget to hit the “save” button at the bottom of the page!

Indicate if it’s part of your commute, like your daily bike to work or an irregular trip like carpooling to a meeting or walking to lunch. Then let us know if it was a round trip, so that it can count as 2 trips. You can also set it to record automatically, like if you and your buddy carpool 3 times a week. This calendar is found in the dropdown under the “Trips” tab.

HOW TO FIND CARPOOL PARTNERS You can look for a carpool partner by inputting your home and work address, just like you would with Google maps. If you’ve included it in your user profile, it will start to pre-fill. Click on “Find Rides” in the navigation bar.

Select your trip preferences. You can indicate if you’d like to travel only with Facebook friends, NuRide “buddies”, or colleagues from work. You can also request that you only carpool with Facebook friends or work colleagues, but keep in mind, this may reduce the eligible number of carpool matches.

Select “On the way” to find matches along your route. Still can’t find a ride? Expand your search radius from the default of <2 miles. If you have too many matches, you can reduce the search radius.
