What is new with the SWUC Search Improvements made to HUB Vendor Search: Search criteria displayed HUB status abbreviations displayed Single certification category (on web results and exportable spreadsheet) Certification dates and certification end dates are displayed on the exportable spreadsheet Exportable spreadsheet can display up to 3 commodity codes or construction codes

HUB Office Activities – Goods and Services Created reporting system for purchases of goods and services: Uses IPS No more spreadsheets faxed, mailed and/or e-mailed, Saved a lot of storage space and time, eliminated manual data entry by the HUB Office. School system financial services software improvement Monthly meetings with purchasing officers within state agencies Developed annual HUB performance goals for cabinet agency purchasing directors

HUB Office Activities - Construction InterScope+ went online for state agencies, universities, and community colleges. Linked to the IPS system to pull in HUB status of vendors used. HUBSCO is still used by local public entities Monthly meetings with capital project coordinators within state agencies   Developed annual HUB performance goals for state agency capital project coordinators   Provided training on Minority Participation Goals, Good Faith Efforts and reporting In Person Web-based

What is on our plates going forward Improving InterScope+’s ability to gather HUB related information and generate useful reports. InterScope+ HUB Reporting subcommittee’s first meeting was Wednesday November 2nd. We will be working with SunPac and LINQ to improve the ability of school systems to capture relevant data for their goods and services reports. Improve the IPS purchasing of goods and services reporting interface. Outreach to increase awareness and ability to report on construction spending (Municipalities, Counties, other local public entities). Investigating how the HUB category was removed from the Construction Manager At Risk Evaluation in InterScope+ and how to address the issue going forward.

Hurricane Matthew Hurricane Matthew Disaster and Recovery Forum, approximately 170 vendors attended to learn about how to be involved with opportunities to help the state recover from the effects of Hurricane Matthew.
