Some advice The qualifying score. For entry in September 2018 the qualifying score will be 205. Using the information on the test score letter. For September 2017 entry the scores of the last pupil to gain entry were as follows A. 217 (non-pupil premium) B. 207 (pupil premium) Five forms of 28 pupils.

Some information about us One of the nine schools of the King Edward VI Foundation in Birmingham. Admission in Year 7 is only on basis of performance in the entrance test. Free education for all students-significant support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds & with a B6 address. The language of A* & A (or 7-9) at GCSE & high tariff options after A-Level.

Future developments A separate catering facility. Refurbished changing facilities in the sports hall. Acquiring the land between Upper Thomas Street and the Aston Expressway and building on this a multi-use games area. Moving the cars from the drive way. The above would hopefully all happen during your son’s time at the school.

Curriculum matters We believe that all students should follow a broad & balanced curriculum-this will include plenty of extra-curricular activities. Until the age of 14. This will include the study of Art, Music, Technology, History, Geography, French, German & RE as well as Mathematics, English & Science. At GCSE we require all students to study English Language & Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry & Physics & RE, French or German, History or Geography & two other subjects.
