Webelos, Boy Scouts, Adults : $12 per person 2017 WEBELOS WOODS Nov 3-5, 2017 @ Friendship Park, Granger Lake Camp Come to the Blackland Prairie Webelos Woods Survival Camp for a day of fun Scouting activities that will prepare you for Boy Scouts! Fire Building First Aid games Monkey Bridge Knot Relay Signaling Archery Campfire Program Tomahawk/Knife Throw Shelter Building Wilderness Cooking Wrist Rockets Scavenger hunt Webelos, Boy Scouts, Adults : $12 per person Webelos and their adults also bring $8 per person for the Troop you are camping with (for dinner and breakfast) What is “Webelos Woods”? It is a camping experience designed to introduce Webelos and their parents to the exciting scouting adventures waiting for them in the Boy Scout program. The weekend is filled with fun activities, intriguing demonstrations, valuable scouting skills, plenty of outdoor excitement and a wonderful campfire. Info and registration at: www.bpdistrict.org/webeloswoods WEBELOS Boy Scouts Dens and individuals must provide their own tents and other camping essentials. Come out for the day (Saturday) or the entire weekend. While Webelos are welcome to register as a Den or individual, we ask that Troops register as a group. The event cost is $12 per person (adult/youth) which includes an event patch, program supplies, Saturday lunch and insurance. Follow the signup to select 1 or more activities to run. Scouts and their parents are invited to participate as individuals or with their den. Event cost is $12 per person which includes an event patch, program supplies, Saturday lunch and insurance. Please bring an extra $8 per person to give to your host troop for Sat dinner & Sun Breakfast During the activity rotations, each troop teaches a different activity or skill to the Webelos, and adults have an opportunity to talk to scouters in that unit. After rotations, Webelos will have free time to visit with Boy Scouts as well as work on a service project for the ranch. After dinner, Boy Scouts and Webelos Scouts will entertain everyone at a traditional Boy Scout campfire program Boy Scouts will have time to: work with their visiting WEBELOS participate in a partial Wilderness Survival Merit Badge class Participate in some of the rotation activities during free time complete a conservation service project for rank advancement
