Go Green Workbook Nov 2016: WASTE ACTIVITIES EVIDENCE POINTS BRONZE: Set up a pen recycling box in your office and communicate this to your staff. Boxes of used pens can be emptied into central recycling points located in the Main Building South Entrance and the Library Foyer. These can be used for any pens, highlighters or markers. Email evidence of communication to team. 2 SILVER: One or more members of the team have attended a recycling workshop put on by the Sustainability Team (an invitation will be sent out to all Go Green Champions in early November, this can be forwarded on to any other interested colleagues). Attendance at the workshop 5 GOLD: The champion has set up a food waste collection in a staff kitchen. This will require one or more volunteers who are willing to empty the food caddy on a regular basis. Contact environment@aston.ac.uk to arrange this or to find out more information. When used in Aston’s catering outlets you will get 15p off your hot drink! You can either purchase an Aston mug from catering, or use your own.
