What is Animal Extinction? Animal Extinction is when a certain type of animal/plant die.

Causes There are many more too! 1. One of the reasons animals become extinct is humans hunting them down. 2. They also die because climate change (or global warming) and the food they eat don’t grow because of the weather. 3. Another reason is that the areas they lived in is destroyed.

How Animal Extinction is effecting people We need the plants because they can take in harmful chemicals humans produce in the products we make and keep the air clean. Some animals are needed for the local natives for food so for them losing that type of animal would be devastating. But other people like us, don’t need that type of animal around since we don’t live in that place. So people thinks animal extinction won’t be much of a problem for some people. BUT IT STILL MATTERS!!!

What societies can do The societies can build wildlife reserves and national parks to help save animals that are endangered.

Ways to stop extinction You can help by locking your pets in at night and make your house less attractive to wild animals! Also you can avoid using pesticides in your garden.
