Process

FPIC principles, 8 step process Interlocutors explain on climate change, REDD, planned activities of UN-REDD and respond to questions raised by villagers and facilitate their discussions. 5. Village meetings 6. Recording decisions Through hand voting and ballot The record of consent or non-consent of each village to be provided to the UN-REDD Programme by each interlocutor 7. Step 2: Recruitment of Interlocutors Effective support from and involvement of local authorities High quality of interlocutors Increase sustainability of FPIC
