Presentation transcript:

Participation Points 5 points possible for each week= 1 point per day If you do not fill out your agenda you will lose your point for that day. Points can be taken away for any disruptive behavior and no warnings will be given. Points can be taken away for not being prepared for class. For example not having your agenda, journal, homework, pencil or paper. These points are significant because each week they are the equivalent of 1 homework assignment. The total Participation Points for the quarter will be equal to a test or project grade. Losing these points can really affect your overall grade. Students who lose 3 or more points in a week will have their parents notified.

Bell Work #2 What is your favorite meal at a fast food restaurant? Make sure to include what you order to drink. What is your favorite dessert at a fast food restaurant or places such as Dairy Queen and Cold Stone Creamery? How do you feel right after eating these foods? How do you feel 1 to 2 hours later?

Food Journal Instructions Write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink for 5 full days. (you do not have to include water) Entries begin on Monday and end at the end of the day Friday. Due date is Monday April 7th which gives you 7 days to have 5 entries. We will also discuss the second part of the assignment at this time. Must include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for each day. If you do not eat a meal write down none. This assignment will not be shared with the class so be honest with yourself about what you are eating when writing in your food journal to benefit from this activity.
