Presentation transcript:

Anti-Bullying at Castle Hall Academy From a recent survey, students at Castle Hall noted that they felt safe in school and that when bullying was reported, it was dealt with effectively by members of staff. However, a small number of students said that they did not feel confident with reporting bullying as they were worried about things getting worse/other repercussions.

Discussion How can we ensure that all students feel confident in reporting incidents of bullying?

Anti-Bullying Strategies at Castle Hall Academy Anti-bullying Ambassadors – these students have been trained and we are hoping to achieve the Diana Award which recognises our work in school to prevent all forms of bullying FROG Online reporting tool – this is now online and you can report any incidences of bullying using this if you do not want to report in person or by using the post box outside the pastoral office Anti-bullying drop ins – these will be every break time in the back of the LRC and will be led by Miss Walker and the anti-bullying ambassadors ACD training – the anti-bullying ambassadors along with our EAL co- ordinators will be delivering sessions on future ACDs to help with the prevention of bullying in our school.

Click on the ‘Report a Bullying Incident’ Shortcut on the Homepage:

This will take you to the homepage of the Incident Report Form.

Fill in the form to report a bullying incident, whether it concerns yourself, or someone you know. You have the option to leave the name field empty, and send the report anonymously. Give as much detail as you can when reporting an incident. The more detail, the easier an issue is to resolve! When you have filled in all the required fields, click Submit. This will send the report to all the Heads of Year, who will deal with the issue straight away.
