Contextual Analysis Learning Objectives SWBAT: Describe what it means to determine the meaning of a word from context. Identify the five types of context clues: definition, synonym, antonym, example, and general. Infer the meanings of select vocabulary words based on context.

Contextual Analysis Do Now Write everything you know about determining the meaning of a word in context for the next three minutes.
