What was daily life like in Egypt? They were not in love with death but in love with life. They worked very hard, but saved time with family, friends, music, parties, swimming, fishing, hunting, sailing, and especially their children. If a couple could not have kids, they would adopt a child because they children were the heart of the family.

Following of daily life Children were taught to be kind and honest, respect their parents, to help with the business, and to help them take care of their elders in their family. The only way your heart would light is if you had spent a lifetime being kind. Everyone from the pharaoh on down who made or lost their temper, made it up by doing good deeds to balance the scale.

The After Life! If you were wealthy you would hire a professional mummy wrapper because you wanted to look good in the afterlife. If they were broke and no money they would put there relatives in the sun to let them mummify naturally. Egyptians believed that if that a mummy was stolen or destroyed, their sprit would not be able to return to their mummified body at night they would disappear forever, no longer able to dwell in there afterlife. Adding a curse or two scare robbers into leaving their mummy alone was probably a common practice,

Why was the Nile River was so important to the Egyptian civilization. Each spring water would run off the mountains and the Nile River would flood. When the floods were done, it would bring back black rich fertile soil. They were then called “The Gift of the Nile.” It gave people fresh water for drinking and bathing. Supported transportation and trade. Provided materials for building , for making cloth for clothes, and make paper.

Following of Why the Nile River was so important. Could enjoy a high standard of living compared to each other ancient civilizations. Without the Nile River, it would be a desert.
