What are the parts that join bones together called? Question #2 flexible parts that join bones together called?

Nurses know the flexible parts are joints called moving … joints allow your elbows, knees and ankles to bend …the school nurse sees a lot of knees

How many times does your Question #3 How many times does your heart beat per minute? 2-4 times 50-100 times 700-800 times

Nurses know that a normal heart beats times 50-100 times … Babies usually have faster heart rates than adults The heart is one of the strongest muscles you have

for every question you answered correctly Give yourself 10 points for every question you answered correctly

Bet you’re wondering: where do nurses use all that Science Knowledge?

Nurses need to understand how the body works... ...because they care for so many different kinds of patients

Sometimes very sick patients

And sometimes, just really small patients

Nurses use their knowledge in all type of places

Places you know like medical offices...

hospitals...

And schools...

…And places you maybe didn’t know about, like helicopters

…laboratories

…air craft carriers

…the military

…and jobs using computers and technology
