Ungulate-Vehicle Collision Study Funded by Washington State Department of Transportation

Ungulate-Vehicle Collision Study OBJECTIVES: Generate maps of migration and seasonal ranges of deer and elk statewide Using DOT and WDFW data, identify areas with high and low collision rates on state highways Assimilate and model attribute data (season, traffic, timing, deer numbers, etc) associated with high and low collision rates Develop predictive models to estimate future collision sites
