Saltgae Kick Off Meeting EUROPEAN DESALINATION SOCIETY (EDS) EDS is a Europe wide organization for individual and corporate members including universities, companies, research institutes, government agencies and all concerned with desalination, waste water reuse, water membrane technologies, renewable energies, climate change and environmental considerations. Members are also welcome from other regions outside Europe. MISSION Promote access to water for growing populations facing scarcity Encourage and promote environmentally responsible research, development, and use of desalination technology and waste water reuse. Communicate and promote information on environmentally responsible and efficient use of technology Promote European interests – business development in desalination and related technologies. OR Papers can be published in a dedicated issue of Desalination and Water Treatment (a hybrid open access journal) Miriam Balaban, Editor-in-Chief Peer review Papers will first be peer reviewed and approved by partners and then undergo peer review of the journal Open Access is obligatory for EU Projects. The cost is to be reported and approved in the budget. Access to Literature Relevant papers in the literature which are not OA can be purchased.
