Assessment in STEP - Standard, qualitative, visual assessment for most of the buildings - Advanced, quantitative, assessment for strategic buildings, based on in situ measurements and numerical models

Aims of the exercise Usefulness of the advanced assessment in emergency Evaluate the possibility of international cooperation in this field A further step towards a possible European harmonisation

Expected results A fully integration of the standard and advanced assessment A comparison between the results of the standard and the advanced assessment Reliability of the estimate in the standard assessment Feedback on procedure and form Effectiveness of cooperation between countries
