Branchcache – best practice & tweaks Make sure the hash cache is big enough on the server Content Size/2000 ish – also move off C drive Always use ConfigMgr UI to enable BC Set a big cache size in Windows 10 – it can shrink Change the default port on clients – use the 2Pint TS Lower the default content size on the server (64k by default) If mixed Win7/10 scenario – consider BranchCache versions Use the free 2Pint BranchCache for OSD Toolkit Use correct BITS policy for optimum LAN tx speed
