“King Midas and the Golden Touch” Vocabulary You will identify unfamiliar vocabulary and definitions. Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Read the story silently. Identify any unfamiliar words (you will need a minimum of 5 for this activity!) Using the Dictionary app on the iPad, define the unfamiliar words (make sure to choose the best definition according to the way the word was used in the story). Using paper and pencil, first record the word and its definition. Next, using either the Sock Puppets app or the Flash Cards app, create a study guide for the words and definitions. In either app, save your work as “King Midas1” (2/3 periods) or “King Midas2” (5/6 periods).
