Language points would rather意思是“宁愿,宁可……也不”,后接动词原形。常省略为’d rather, 其否定形式是would rather not do sth. 注意: would rather没有人称和数的变化。 She would rather stay at home tomorrow. 她宁愿明天待在家里。 I’d rather not tell you about it. 我宁愿不告诉你此事。
would rather. than. 意为“宁愿 would rather ... than ... 意为“宁愿 ... 而不愿…”,表示主观愿望, 即在两者之中选择其一。than 后边接动词原形。但如果该句型前后连接的两个动词相同, 则than 之后的那个动词可省去。
