Space complexes and orbital stations belong to the most complicated technical objects whenever created by mankind.

And the brightest concentrator of technological achievements of intellect of the whole mankind is International Space Station.

At present ISS is being created on the near the Earth orbit At present ISS is being created on the near the Earth orbit. Every operation is controlled by computers in order to let the crew execute useful scientific experiments.

It’s difficult to operate a spaceship It’s difficult to operate a spaceship. You have to solve a lot of complicated sums at the same time. Control flight dynamics, maintain intended track, establishment the right temperature in the modules and so on. Everything have to be automated. So that computers help our cosmonauts to do all this difficult operations.

What is underline interaction between two different worlds – cosmonautics and industrial automation? Computers, of course.

So we can say that our modern cosmonautics is impossible without computers and computing.
