Animated slides The number shows the amount of steps within the animated sequence. This number reduces as you advance. The orange triangle is used instead of the number 1, so that you know that your next click will take you to a new slide. You can easily tell which slides contain animations by looking out for the orange number here. Some slides contain animated elements. These can be triggered by clicking your mouse in the middle of the slide, pressing the space bar or the down/right arrow keys. Try it out now! Click/press to move the animation on 3 4 2 4 4

Timer There are two short whistle sounds, to let you know the countdown has begun. A green bar will also expand along the lower white line. When the timer reaches the end, a long whistle blows and an image of a whistle appears. To help you keep track and to add a sense of excitement to an activity, some slides include an optional timer function. To trigger the timer, click the whistle button in the lower right corner now. 2 7 7
