SISTEM SUSPENSI VIBRATIONS and quality of driving In the subject of vibration and quality of driving a car, there are terms: Sprung weight: Weight ditumpu car by the spring suspension Unsprung weight: Weight axle and parts - Other parts are located Between the wheels - wheels and springs Note: Sprung weight the greater the better quality of driving

SPRING ( PEGAS ) LEAF SPRING Function To connect the frame to the axle and also to cushion the shock absorber caused by road surface Spring constant Nature of the materials change shape when a load, and back into shape when the load is released. The event is called the elasticity The amount of deflection is proportional to the force exerted. Comparison between the force exerted by the deflection is called "spring constant"

COIL SPRING Long steel rod rolled. Compared with leaf springs, coil spring is longer so as to have a better resistance to shock, there is no friction when there deflexi, so as to provide better comfort. Coil spring does not have the shock absorbing properties, is sufficient and can not guarantee its axis.
