Economic Development: Terms to Know Human Development Index: ranks countries based on their level of economic development Birth Rate: Births per 1,000 Infant Mortality: Infant deaths per 1,000 births.

Economic Development: Terms to Know Gross Domestic Product (G.D.P.): Total of goods and services made in a nation in one year G.D.P. per capita: G.D.P. per person Size of Population: the number in a country, used to divide into G.D.P. to create G.D.P. per capita
