Food Storage – The Refrigerator Food stays fresh for longer when it is kept cool. The temperature inside a fridge is about 5 degrees, so that the bacteria which can spoil food are too cold to be very active. In a fridge all food should be covered and wrapped it if is to remain moist. Where would you place the following foods?
