Concentric Circles 1. Draw 4 circles on paper. 2.  In the center circle: Write the most significant word. Give multiple dictionary definitions. 3.  In the next (2nd) outer circle (middle) Draw images from the poem Write an explanation by the image that explains the link between the illustration and the word in the center. 4.  In the next (3rd) outer circle  Write questions for each image that would help people understand the poem. 5.  In the last circle Write words used in the poem that reveal a certain tone 6.  Outside of all the circles Write what life lesson (theme) that image produces about the word in the center.
