Welcome to Denmark

Denmark Denmark is located on the continent of Northern Europe. The capital of Denmark is Copenhagen.

The people of Denmark speak German. They are called Danish.

Famous landscapes in Denmark

Natural animal life is in Denmark includes deer and small mammals such as the fox, squirrel, and hare; wildfowl and other birds; and numerous species of freshwater fish.

Schools in Denmark Before starting pre-school most children in Denmark go to nursery school or kindergarten. Pre-school, is optional. There are nine more years of school. There is an optional tenth grade.

Denmark is famous for making machinery, furniture, instruments and food products.

Interesting facts In Denmark, Copenhagen has areas were you can travel by canal, and it also has one of the biggest shopping areas in the world. Did you, know Denmark is the oldest monarchy of the west until the 9th sentry Denmark controlled entire Northern Europe and was very important power. And the Vikings in the old days they had conquered England and Normand. A very long time ago Denmark owned Sweden and Norway, but in the 20th sentry Denmark lost all this territory, -The slogan: ‘’Beauty in small’’ , has been invented in order to justify he modern claims of the country. The Vikings lived from 800 to 1200 in the period of time known as the Viking age. Originally , they not only came from Denmark but from Sweden and Norway. Vikings were good sailors.
