Audience can relax Handouts are WAY better that just printing someone your PowerPoint slide deck, for three reasons: If you’ve built a good slide deck, it’s a BAD handout (sparse info on slide deck) Then they can sit back and relax and enjoy listening knowing you’ve made notes for them They’re not taking notes during the presentation (multitasking = bad) Audience isn’t multitasking
