The Stone Age A period of time during which early humans made lasting tools and weapons mainly from stone Wood /Animal Bones (No metal yet!) 3 periods: Old, Middle, and New Stone Age

MAN MAKE FIRE!

No, man…Nomads! Nomad: People who have no settled home Pastoral: raised livestock, travel place to place Then: early farmers: 11,000 years ago Women: gathering plants and seeds Men hunters Fertile: rich in the substances that plants need to grow

Domestication Station! Domesticate plants: adapt wild plants for human use First domesticated animals: dogs Trained to carry heavy loads: cattle, camels, horses, and donkeys
