The Talleys in 2014

January started with Matty staying warm inside…….

While Zach and Josh worked and had fun outside

The extra long winter didn’t deter Josh from adventures

Everyone just had more reason to bundle/snuggle up

At the end of March, Chris And his buddies traveled to Indianapolis for the Big Ten basketball tournament …..

And played in the Hickory Gym from the movie Hoosiers

Spring finally arrived and we had a nice Easter dinner out on the deck with Mama Laine and Papa Ray

Zach finished up his Sophomore year with his last band concerts and had a very busy Spring on the Sophomore baseball team.

He had a fun year shifting between catcher, 3rd base, 1st base and DH for the Roseville B squad

Everyone was happy to get outside and enjoy the Spring weather

Josh finished up Kindergarten at Falcon Heights

And he had a fun first year of baseball with Dad coaching him and the rest of the Mudhens

Matty enjoyed tagging along, especially during the parent vs kids scrimmage

Zach turned 16 and moved right into summer baseball through Roseville

We had a fun weekend at Lake Florida with all the Talley clan

Summer was more outdoor fun with water, parks, parades…..

…sparklers on the 4th ofJuly…

….Lake Minnetonka Regional Park..

….And MLB All Star game fun

As August arrived, we continued to have fun, enjoying the end of summer

Especially on our summer vacation south to Texas and Louisiana

Our first stop was Dallas and the JFK Museum

We enjoyed go-karting and dinosaurs

We spent a night in Austin….

…and another in San Antonio

We watched the Twins win in Houston

And had 2 fun days in New Orleans

It was a fun week down south in the heat and humidity

We ended the Summer with the State Fair and one last Como visit

Come September it was time for 1st and 11th grade to start

October brought Josh’s 7th Birthday

He also started geo-caching with Dad, and occasionally Matty

We made several games at TCF to see some fun Gopher wins

And had fun picking pumpkins and other Hallow-fun

Soon, winter was back again

Denise had fun with friends

And then Christmas was here!

The Johnsons met together the weekend after Christmas in Northfield
