GISC CASABLANCA Status MFI was rewarded a tender to install and assist DMN with implementing GISC CASABLANCA. The GISC-CASABLANCA is currently in a pre-operational state. GISC audit has been completed in Casablanca 4 and 5th may 2015. Regional GISC training workshop is scheduled for the week 26 – 30th october 2015.

GISC-STATUS After assessing each of the areas of this audit, the auditors confirm that the system conforms to the specification of all WIS requirements, and the infrastructure and staff capabilities of the DMN are appropriate to WIS services of GISC Casablanca and the associated DCPCs (RCC, NWP, Marine) and NC in DMN. GISC ARCHITECTURE Redundant servers for the front and back services (04 servers for the openwis solution)

OpenWIS version 3.12 is installed on: 2 servers 'front-end‘ 3 OpenWIS modules were installed on these servers: WISPortal A module WIS Portal 'bringing together the WIS User Portal and Apache server (CCIM Portal hosted on a Tomcat web server). WISSecurity A module WIS Security 'hosting the authentication server and user authorization (under OpenAM JBoss). The data dissemination module (via FTP or Email) 2 back-end servers: WISAdmin A module WIS Administration 'hosting the portal administrator (in Tomcat) WISData A module WIS Data 'hosting the database (Postgres), the data management module (Sub JBOSS).

The servers are redundant thanks to a solution based on the Pacemaker solution + DRBD
