Background History Thomas Edison was a really famous inventor who invented useful items like the light bulb, phonograph and even the telegraph! Edison started his inventing career in 1876 in Menlo Park, New Jersey. ThomasEdison started his inventing career because he loved science as a kid .
Who? ThomasEdison was born in Milan, OH in February 11, 1847 and died in October 18, 1931 due to diabetes. Edison was deaf and liked it that way he saved a kid from a runaway train. Edison built his first lab when he was 10 . He was taught by his mother because he had learning disabilities and, also he invented a creepy talking doll.
What? The cause of this wonderful thing to happen because he loved science as a kid . He then grew into loving science and built his lab at the age of 10.
Why? The effect was that Edison then became inventor as he grew older and became really, really famous.
When? 1882 On September 4th, he commenced operation of the first profit oriented central station in the United States in New York City, for the distribution of current for electric lighting. 1914 Invented the Tele scribe, combining the telephone and the dictating phonograph, thus permitting - for the first time - the recording of both sides of a telephone conversation.
Where? Edison built his lab in Menlo Park, New Jersey in December 1879. He also made the movie camera around 1889.

He spent all his lifetime, inventing various items. One of his biggest achievements was inventing the lightbulb. He sadly died in October 18, 1931.
