The Cell Cycle Sketch each step in the cell cycle process in the circles provided on the concept map.

The Energy Cycle part of the carbon cycle producers, consumers photosynthesis, respiration chloroplast, mitochondria photosynthesis produces glucose and oxygen photosynthesis needs carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight respiration needs oxygen, glucose, and water respiration produces energy at ATP and carbon dioxide

Cell Transport Active Transport moves materials from low concentrations to high concentrations requires energy to be completed two specific types endocytosis – the use of energy to bring nutrients into the cell exocytosis – the use of energy to remove wastes from the cell like plant roots such as potatoes and carrots that continue to absorb more and more water and nutrients

Cell Transport Passive Transport moves materials from high concentrations to low concentrations happens without energy two specific types diffusion – the movement of any molecule from high concentrations to low concentration (like air freshener spreading throughout a room) osmosis – the movement of water across the cell membrane (like watering a wilted plant) Continues until balanced The natural motion of molecules to find equilibrium; an equal rate of flow between the cell and the surroundings
