Audie murphy Toree Mcfarland 10 days before 18th birthday he enrolled in the military . In February 1943 , he left for North Africa, where went to war training Life magazine horned the brave baby faced soldier by putting on the cover of July 16,1945 issue. They had 2 children Abby and john Audie murphy died on may 28, 1971 in Roanoke, Virginia. Audie murphy was born in Kingston, Texas on June ,20 1925. A year later after he was born his mom died . He had to do all the things his mom did . A few months later he went to Italy to fight in the war. While fighting in in the wet mountains of Italy he got malaria He married Pamela Archer Got stress disorder would not sleep for days
