Resolution Number of pixels per inch of an area without overlapping is called Resolution. More the resolution, more clear is the image. Measured as dpi(dots per inch)

Aspect ratio width-to-height ratio of an image Types of aspect ratio 4:3 used for many computer monitors and older, non-widescreen televisions. 1:1 an uncommon square-format aspect ratio ,occasionally used in photography. 5:4 is a computer monitor resolution, now more commonly used in mobile telephone cameras. 16:9 is the aspect ratio used for High Definition television, as well as movies. 14:9 is a compromise aspect ratio used to create a picture acceptable to both 4:3 and 16:9 televisions. 16:10 is utilized in the majority of widescreen computer monitors. http://www.bambooav.com/aspect-ratios-explained.html

Dot pitch Dot Pitch is the distance between two pixels. For a color display dot pitch is a measure of the size of a triad plus the distance between the triads. 0.22 to 0.25 mm is the optimum Image Source : www.wikipedia.org

Refresh rate The refresh rate is the number of times in a second that a display hardware draws the data. Data is picked from the frame buffer Measured in Hertz (frames per seond) Inadequate refresh rate results in flickering
