Backround information The Iraq War (or War in Iraq) began on March 20, 2003 with the invasion of Iraq by the United States under the administration of President George W. Bush December 13th, 2003 Saddam Hussein is captured By March 24th 2008 there was 4000 American deaths in the war The cost of war to date in Iraq is ~$820,615,550,206 May 1, 2011 Osama Bin Laden is killed by American troops October 21st, 2011 Obama calls for troops coming home by end of year… about 4400 troops have died to this point
