When we improve technology, we make life easier and more comfortable. What is Technology? Technology is any invention, including tools, machines, techniques, and sources of power. When we improve technology, we make life easier and more comfortable. Before revealing, ask students what they think the definition of technology is.

What is a computer? A computer is an electronic device that can store and process data to help users complete tasks. Before revealing, ask students how they define a computer.

Computers are everywhere and come in all shapes and sizes. They are in our schools, homes, and workplaces. You can find them in items like cash registers, ATM machines, and even refrigerators. Ask students to list different places where you can find computers.
