Kindernews Mrs. Walk – January 23-27 Math Peek-at-the-Week Sight Words – where, they Word Family – -in Science – This week we will be talking about bears. We will discuss the word hibernation and we will make a list of other animals that hibernate. We will continue our study of nonfiction books while discussing facts about these animals. We will also compare different types of bears using a Venn diagram.   WEDNESDAY is library day! 100 Day Activities This week we will be talking about the 100th day of school. We will practice writing to 100 and we will look at a 100 chart to notice the patterns in numbers.   Author Study This week we will continue our author study by Jan Brett.
