God is real, supreme and perfect. Genesis 1 – spoilers! God is real, supreme and perfect. He is outside of the Universe, and entirely and solely responsible for creating it. The Creation has a purpose: its elements are formed and filled to display his glory, his holiness and his love. He created humanity to bear his image in the world and to oversee it on his behalf. He rested from his first Creation, and we have spoiled his image in the earth. Our hope is in the new Creation, through which we can be formed anew and filled with his goodness.
