What is it? Mzt7/Rzt7 magnetic cylinder sensorS Magnetic cylinder sensors detect the magnetic field of a magnet that is integrated in the piston of a cylinder. The sensing element detects the magnetic field , which produces a signal to notify the user of the piston position. The screw ensures reliable detection as the sensor keeps its position despite slot tolerances, vibration or cable pull. Security retaining ribs - on each side of the sensor - for one hand mounting so the sensor does not fall out of the slot during installation Side view Universal housing design - to cover all major cylinders types/brands with only one sensor from SICK. This means fewer part numbers, inventory reduction, design flexibility and easier service processing for customers. Drop-in mounting instead of “turn-in“ or “slide-in“ - Workers need only a few seconds to mount the sensor.
