Job Responsibilities Oversee everything. Finances (books, bills, expenses). Hiring new employees. Training members when he has enough time. Has an employee that manages the day to day responsibilities. Buying and selling of equipment.

Job Setting Constantly changing, never comfortable. Fitness industry is trendy, depends on what the market wants. Always new equipment coming out. Mainly a class environment but open gym times are sometimes available. Clients usually come before and after work. Employees work by appointment, allowing them to work at other gyms. Social Media is their biggest advertising tool.

Impressions Cleanliness of facility. Organization of equipment. Most appealing is that you’re your own boss. Least appealing is the funds needed to start a business. Possibly pursue later in life when you have money saved.

Details of Interview Questions About 400 check ins per week. All equipment is bought, not leased. Has about 16-20 employees. Markets through social media, word of mouth, and business cards. To have this kind of business you need to know a lot about many different things. “Jack of all trades, master of none”
