Recent events There are many opportunities for involvement at the state level including attending local meetings, presenting posters, meeting mentors, and more. In Central Ohio, we are lucky enough to work closely with OSHP (state affiliate; Ohio Society of Health System Pharmacists) and COSHP (local affiliate, Central Ohio Society of Health Systems Pharmacists)

Dayton Area Society of Health-System Pharmacists (DASHP) Scholarship – Deadline: February 1,  2017 Award: one (1) $1,250 scholarship For non-graduating pharmacy students with an Ohio internship license and interest in living in Dayton, Ohio Complete attached application and write 200-word essay Send to DASHP@sbcglobal.net Central Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists (COSHP) Scholarship – Deadline: January 3, 2017 Award: two (2) $1,000 scholarships For full-time Ohio State University students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, GPA 3.0 or above, shows involvement in extracurricular pharmacy activities Complete attached application, submit 1 letter of recommendation, personal statement, and CV Send to glindsey@pharmacysystems.com

ASHP Midyear REIMBURSEMENT If you are going to Midyear this year and want to get reimbursed: Must be a registered and paid member of SSHP by September 2nd, 2016 (last day of membership drive) *NO EXCEPTIONS* Must submit CV to SSHP CV Review Must attend one of the following: Residency 101 (Spring 2015) Clinical Skills Competition (9/28/16) Mock Residency Interviews Must send conference confirmation/receipt to Sarah Sakai by December 15, 2016, along with events completed.
