You have a total of 23 spots. 18 of those spots are for your players. You will write the names of your 18 players, who MUST have his or her swim cap in order to enter through the pass gate. It is recommended that the players be listed in numerical order. This list will also have the names of the 5 additional spots for your team. For example, the head coach, assistant coaches and managers should be listed. If you have extra spots and would like to list your principal and/or athletic director, you can do so. Each of these 5 people MUST be wearing his or her wristband in order to go through the pass gate. If a person has a wristband, but whose name is not on the list, the wristband will be confiscated.

Media Press conference after each game Credential requests Student media (newspaper, yearbook, etc.) http://www.fhsaa.org/form/credential-request-form Videotaping games Needs to be cleared through the FHSAA E-mail: dklaus@fhsaa.org A postgame press conference involving the head coach of each participating team and some of the players will be conducted five minutes after the game. One of the FHSAA staff members will approach your team with the numbers of the players the media is requesting. It is mandatory for the head coaches to attend the press conference. While it is not mandatory for the players to attend, we highly encourage attendance because it is a good learning experience, especially if the student-athletes are going to play sports in college. The losing team will be asked to go to the press conference first, followed by the winning team. If your game is the last game of the session, the interviews might take place on the pool deck at the conclusion of the game. Please remember that the FHSAA operates under a closed locker room policy, which means no one is allowed into your locker room except the team and those with team credentials. For those schools that will have a student media representative, there is an online credential request form on the FHSAA web site under media services. The deadline to request a credential is Wednesday, April 24. This credential is for students only. Schools wishing to videotape their game may do so provided they clear it with me and the school representative is identified. Please e-mail me if you would like to request this. The videographer will have to pay to get into the game, and we ask that tripods be stationed at the top of the bleachers, as to not interfere with other spectators.

Thanks for Viewing!! If you have any questions regarding the upcoming state tournament, please don’t hesitate to give me a call or shoot me an e-mail!
