Introduction THE UNIVERSITY OF ZAMBIA Mission To provide relevant Higher Education Through Teaching, Research and Community Service. Collaboration Potential areas of collaboration between MESA SADC THEMA : Teaching - MESA to provide more training, materials, tools and methods. UNZA to incorporate materials in student practicals at undergraduate and postgraduate level. UNZA to offer short courses to NFPs and stakeholders in Zambia Research – Early warming mobile apps based on MESA data for different services. MESA development team can avail us gaps/suggestions for future research in respective services Product validation – UNZA interested in validating products for Agriculture, drought and floods. Curriculum development – UNZA to include the MESA services in the curriculum (long run) 14-18 March 2016,Windhoek Vienna Office
