The On-Line Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws An on-line information service from Bill Current (view this in Presentation mode for full functionality)

Everything you need to know about state drug testing laws… when you need to know it!

The following slides describe… The services that come with a Premium Subscription to the On-Line Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws What a subscription costs How to subscribe A disclaimer (we’re not attorneys) The subscriber agreement Bill Current’s bio Information about Bill Current’s company… WFC & Associates

What Is the Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws? The Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws is an on-line, multi-faceted subscription-based information and update service. It is not a book, which is out of date the minute it comes off the presses. And it is not simply an on-line reference, which just shows you what a particular statute says but fails to explain what it means.

What Does a Subscription Include? A Premium Subscription to The On-Line Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws includes a personal password that will grant you exclusive access at StateDrugTestingLaws.com to three essential services…

50+ reader-friendly charts, one for each state, that provide up-to-date information and summaries of each state’s law State law updates throughout the year so you stay current Answers to your questions via conference calls, emails or by posting your question using the blog feature at StateDrugTestingLaws.com (limited to 4 hours of consulting time)

You also get… Access to select articles from Bill Current’s extensive archive of originally written articles and presentations on a variety of drug testing issues… a new article is posted each month, and Access to Bill Current’s archive of drug testing industry surveys (read more about these surveys by using the “Industry Survey” tab in the top toolbar at StateDrugTestingLaws.com).

State Charts At the heart of the Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws are the state charts. There is one for each state and applicable municipalities. Detailed categories of information are provided for the most commonly asked questions. The first section of each chart deals with drug and alcohol testing “Policy Issues.” It will tell you if, for example, pre-employment testing is addressed in the statute, whether it is permitted (or required) or not, and then provide additional details if necessary. Here’s an example…

The Next Section The second section deals with the “Drug Testing Practices and Procedures” and includes items such as on-site testing, permitted specimens, laboratory requirements, and who must pay for drug testing. Take a look…

The Next Two Sections… The third and fourth sections address “Outcomes” and “Incentives and Penalties”. If you want to know, for example, if employees have the right to request a “retest” or if there are criminal or civil penalties for breaking the state’s drug testing law these last two sections will tell you.

There’s More Finally, because additional information often is needed a “Notes and Statutory Language” section contains further details regarding that state’s law. Language is typically taken directly from the statute and included in this section. The Notes section may have definitions that are particular to that state, an explanation of random testing, specific results reporting requirements, or virtually anything else that may set that statute apart from other states.

A Comprehensive Service Periodic updates, which are sent out as we learn of changes in the law or when clarifications are provided, include notification of the change and an updated state chart if necessary. When you call or email for additional information we attempt to answer your question immediately but always within 24 hours. A full written report in response to a question may incur additional fees when approved in advance by the subscriber. However, this is rarely needed.

Single Issue State Law Charts A premium subscription also includes… specialty state law charts… specific topic charts that are often inspired by subscribers’ questions such as “What states have medical marijuana laws?” or “What states permit oral fluid testing?”

5 Valuable Information Services in One Annual Subscription The On-Line Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws includes: Individual, reader-friendly charts for each state Periodic updates as needed throughout the year Question and answer consulting via phone, email or the website’s blog Access to select articles written by Bill Current Access to drug testing industry research on a selected basis

Two Great Subscriptions A Premium Subscription Costs Just $950 (Includes 4 hours of consulting time so you can ask state law questions any time… a $600 value if purchased separately) A Standard Subscription Is Only $595 (Consulting time can be purchased an hour at a time at $150 per hour)
