Objectives: Students will recognize that psychology has many subfields that emphasize both research and application of psychological issues.

Warm Up: Why did you sign up for this psych class?

BRAINSTORM! What kind of work do psychologists do? Where do psychologists work? What’s the difference between a school guidance counselor and a psychologist?
