Where to Begin With Slides Students conduct research and summarize their findings into a Google Slides presentation (Research Tool). Flip your lessons or use Google Slides to create a presentation for students to view. At the end of your presentation you can test their knowledge of the content by having a link to a Google Form (GAFE smashing). Your whole class can collaborate on one presentation. #5 Challange Schedule a Hangout 1. Open Google Calendar 2. Create an event using Google Calendar and name it Google Basics Hangout 3. Add a Hangout to the event by clicking “Add a video call” 4. Under “Add guests” invite anyone in the room using their emails 5. Click Save and Send (it might say “Invite external guests” if you are sending from within a school domain).

Troubleshooting: What if the network is Down? On a Chrome browser, visit Drive at drive.google.com. In the top right, click the gear icon Choose Settings. Check the box next to "Sync Google Docs, Sheets, Slides & Drawings files to this computer so that you can edit offline" to enable offline access. Your files and folders will automatically be synced so that they'll be available without an Internet connection.
