Work Breakdown Structure Hierarchically structures the tasks to be performed and the ownership of those tasks. Projects broken into smaller pieces until they are a collection of tasks or work packages Developed by the military..”it displays and defines the products to be developed and relates the elements of work to be accomplished to each other and to the end product.” Identify the activities necessary to complete the project. The tasks are linked together in a tree structure known as a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
